ABC's 1975 adaptation of the musical "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman." Many recognizable faces. It is really bad...really really bad...can't get it off my mind or off my shoe bad.
Vetrain tv game show host Allen Ludden(the first mc of"The GE Collage Bowl" and"Password")plays "Daily Planet"editor in chief"Perry White"on the show.
Character actorsElvira Allman and George Chandler(Who played villians on"The Adventures Of Superman TV Shows")play "Superman's"/"Kal El's"/"Clark Kent's"earth bound foster parents"Martha & Jonathan Kent"on the show.
MY God! I haven't seen this ABC TV network adaptation of"It's A Bird! It's A Plane It's Superman!"since..the show first aired on Friday Night February 11,1975..Thanks For bringing this show back to us all.
Thanks for posting. I wondered about this since David Wilson was the first live-action Superman on TV since George Reeves' Superman. David Wilson's Superman is obviously influenced by the campy comedy of Adam West's Batman TV show which had been a big hit on ABC in the '60s.

Do the Kents have X-ray vision too? If not, how did they determine the child inside the capsule was male without looking?
