lashes in dead man's walk

I would also love to take a whipping of this nature as a test of manhood and resolve. However, this is more of a fantasy whipping for me and not something I would attempt to recreate in real life except with a whip that is intended for 100 lashes without causing any real harm or death. Still I wish I could go back in time and experence this and be able to "brag" about it. It would not be practical to recreate it exactly as in the movie, especially in modern society.

@freacls If you are making a movie that has a male whipping scene in it, a cute young slender guy with a hairy chest will be the perfect candidate.

@SoloStarGazer1 Hollywood is an amazing thing. While it is possible to survive the actual whipping, the loss of blood, shock, and the risk of infection, particularly in the unsanitary conditions in which he was treated, surely would have caused him to die within a few days.

It is rare for someone to survive this type of flogging. That is one determined man...

I wish there had been more women in the witnessing crowd. I only counted two. There is something very errotic about seeing women watching a shirtless man being bullwhipped. Especially a whipping as brutal as this one.

As a test of manhood and resolve, I would not mind being the one who got the whipping.
