  • OK!! I've lived in LA for YEARS, and I never knew we had a sub:/....most people get around in bust-up cars or take the Metro!! :D

Its prob because I live in San Fern. that I never noticed-_-

  • @skripts1 I believe thats the Hollywood/Vine station.

  • @Xomanowar99 Los Angeles did have a 1,200 mile rail system until the early 60's then made the mistake of dropping the lines and building more freeways. The city is trying to rebuild the metro system but it will take some time. I agree with you that N.Y. has a great system. I was out east last summer and I rode an N.Y. subway train. Even though the car was dirty it was efficient transport.

  • is this the one with all the history on the pillars or is that the hollywood one??????

  • I didn't notice but these trains sound very similar to the Newer R-160B Subway cars in New York

  • it literally is a 100 years behind lol

  • Just got back from new york. great subway system. L.A. is 100 years behind, but it will get there.

  • they have the same motors

  • sounds like our rohrs

  • The D.C. subway has that same sound when slowing down.
