@theultimateotaku actually he danced before, while dancing kaliya's two wives prayed to forgive him,, but it was not shown in the serial as they might thought to do a bit different ,,while watching it we Indians didnot mind for it as we just wanted to sri krishna to dance on kaliya only

Jai Sri Krishna! What a wonderful video. Krishna is so adorable and sweet! I also love the Vrajbasis excitement to see Krishna. I think the order is a bit off - Krishna forgiving Kaliya and *then* dancing on his heads? - but the thought is what counts.
Just this fall 2010 I went to India to Kaliya ghat, where Krishna defeated Kaliya by dancing on his heads. It is a very beautiful place, with water, and the tree Krishna leapt into the Yamuna River from is still there! It's a v beautiful tree.

@theultimateotaku "...dancing on his heads" - I tend to see here the symbolism and energy. Winner - is a winner) imho

@Shults99 It is definitely a winner, I agree! When I read Srimad Bhagavatam, I read that Krsna danced on Kaliya's heads first, as punishment (though really, it is mercy!) for poisoning the Yamuna River, and then He forgave Kaliya. Kaliya was a king in a past life, who could not beget a son. He went to a sage, who told him, drink my foot bath water. Bc the sage was a leper, the king was disgusted + put the water on his head instead. Sage said, the Lord will dance on your head in your next life.

@theultimateotaku Kaliya has been a lack of faith... Karma... It's unbelievable that everything is described in Srimad Bhagavatam )

Enchanting, marvellous, wonderful and great mythology accompanied by a beautifully performed dance as well as an everlasting ancient song.
