AES Vienna Video: Violet Design Microphones Part 2

In the second part of our tour of Violet Design's products Edijs Rudzis shows us two of the more interesting mics, probably out of all that were at the show. The Flamingo is a stereo LDC that looks about as outlandish as an actual flamingo. . . if a flamingo had two heads.

The second mic was a prototype called The Black Hole. This is a dual capsule mic made to sound the same on both sides. Check out the video to hear how they actually accomplish this.
