P.S. 123 in Harlem has shared it's space with the Harlem Success Academy 2 since 2007. P.S. 123 is a "A" school despite being forced to partition off classrooms as a result of the lack of space. Some students at P.S. 123 are forced to share chairs. Even though overcrowding at P.S. 123 is already a problem, in February of 2010 the DOE released a plan to open yet another Harlem Success Academy, HSA 5, in their building.
Wow! Things have changed for ther worst in Brooklyn. That looks like my old speech lab classroom back in 78. At the time only about eight of us were in there; enough room.
