This is bullshit and y'all know it. In scripture only the ENEMIES of god are thrown to the ground. Godly men fall prostrate before the almighty, which is to say on their knees, face to the ground BOWING in adoration. This is yet another reason why people are leaving Christianity. Fire fell from heaven to light the altar at the tabernacle & it was important that the Fire From God be used to keep the brazen altar fire burning, that same fire was used to light the lamp stand & the altar of incense, any one using other fire was slain. Jesus came & baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire. Matt 3:11, Luke 3:16, The fire of Jesus today is was ignites us to do the works of the kingdom. All this is supported by many scriptures and examples, even cloven tongues of fire on the head.

I have had real experiences and fake ones. Like once the pastor actually told me I was resisting the Holy Spirit because I wouldnt fall! SO what I can say is YES it's real! Just don't let anyone force you into anything.
