See how I diagnosed a common engine problem, fixed it & completely restored a junk, non-running rototiller. It's a Montgomery Ward, Gilson tiller with a 5 HP Briggs & Stratton motor.

  • I have the same tiller to bad mine is not painted as great as yours.

  • looks nice, but did you sharpen the tines, check the gear lube, change the oil, seat the valves, rebuild and new diaphram the carb, flush out the gas tank, change the belts, rewind the recoil with new rope, oil the recoil spring, sand and oil the shaft under the recoil ratchet, drip oil into the felt oiler in the bottom of the recoil ratchet, clean and dry the recoil ratchet and balls, change the points/condenser, change the air cleaner? cuz i didnt see that in the video. sure looks good though.

  • Looks really nice. Mine has a bad oil leak at main seal. Is that a bear to change? I figured it will require rear engine case removal.

  • Hey wanna come and paint mine.

  • great job man looks good
