Wow. That is an amazing song. If I read right on another web site you wrote that for Katie that died in the Enterprise tornado in 2007. Even if thats not right that is still an amazing song and makes me cry every time I hear it b/c I lived 15 min. from where that tornado hit and I saw the devistation it left on that small town that day. Enterprise High school logo is We will Rebuild, We will Survive, We Will Recover, but We will never forget. This song is speacle for so many peole. Thank you

I'm not Darryl, just a long time fan. In an article in the Enterprise Legder, Darryl said in an interview that he dedicated it to Katie Strunk. Darryl was quoted as saying "I wanted to do something for them and Enterprise and a song for Katie just came to me. If felt so compelled to write it and then this chance to do something in the album came along," he said, "I wrote Katie's Song and I hope this will touch the lives of the people of Enterprise and help them rebuild the school they lost."

@barrelbaby92 this tragedy that happend at enterprise was like a dream i checked out of school about 30 minutes before the tornado when my aunt came to get me from my school to take me to get my cousin from enterprise high..he was a close friend of mind and we always said we were cousins me him and aj were very close and when i found out they had died along with katie and jamie i prayed that i was dreaming n that soon i would wake up it didn't hit me untill i was at their funeral they were gone

yeah it was very sad that day and i don't think any of us at enterprise high will never forget even though every student that was there has graduated except for those 8 heroes

Katie was my best friend, i was the last person to see her alive, she died basically in my arms of the high school we were both sophmores at the high school when it hit, and to this day even after our graduation, i will never forget the day my 8 friends past away at that school, WE MISS YOU KATHRYN MADORA STRUNK

This song is truly amazing I' played it over and over, I had a 4 year old grand dauther that died from cancer on febuary 15 2009 and when my older grand daughter e mailed me me to listen to this song , I couldn't stop listening , I t could have been wrote for her .our Katie Bug . Thank You very Much for Katie's Song
