I have been there 2 or 3 times and did a presentation about it.

Some of my familymembers (I think my grandmother and some of the older family members who I've not known) have been there, some even have been in Auswitsch.

Right now, I am 19 years old. I cannot imagine how life must have been in those days. Yet, when walking around the site, I am able to feel and hear the people and their emotions.

The impact of visiting this place, is overwelming. Even when you don't have family members who were prisioned there in the second worldwar.

Truus, het ontroert mij ook telkens weer.

Het was zo indrukwekkend om daar rond te lopen, de bomen te horen ruisen in de wind en te beseffen, hoeveel leed daar zich moet hebben afgespeeld.
