Paganini: Caprice No. 20 (Shlomo Mintz)

This recording was converted from an old VHS, so not the best video quality.
Sad to say that the 24-etude set was not complete on the cassette. There were only Nos. 1-11., 13, 14, 17, 20 and 24.

Check out young master's incredible technique and the sound (especially for staccati, spiccati and ricochets), musically also intelligent. Recorded in 1981.

I finally get the bagpipes floating above his head! The first section sounds a bit like bagpipes with the D drone.

But an excellent clean, super clean. I especially love how concise the section jumping between the G and the E string is.

@funsizeazian able to play is one thing. Just like an animal can run. but is how fast, how good can they run. Masters dont say any masterpieces easy. Hence i'll presume you're just some mediocre violinist:).

there is a distinct difference between it being easy and him making it look easy, and although mintz in all his amazingness is good at making it look effortless in his performances...it still doesnt look easy lol
