@johnnibarger - It is not 100% accurate, but you are correct about executive order 11110. The video is correct in the fact that Kennedy had issued executive order 11110, and what the video does not reveal, is that enough silver certificates were issued into the economy that the NY branch of the FED was shut down. If you are going to point out historical inaccuracies, you should also point out the ones about Lincoln.

At the time of Executive Order 11110, the FED did not issue Federal Reserve Notes in $1 or $2 denominations.

Remember that it wasn't until Nixon that we completely abandoned the Gold Standard in it's entirety. Kennedy lobbied Congress toward that end and to turn all currency issuance over to the FED and discontinue all Treasury issued currency.

This video is not accurate in making it's case. I suggest that in order to create a credible case against the FED, be sure to use only factual information.

Kennedy Executive Order 11110 was not a return to the gold/silver standard, nor did it return money issuance to the Treasury. It merely outlined the issuance of $1 and $2 Silver Certificates at that time during a transition in which Kennedy LOBBIED CONGRESS to totally discontinue the issuance of Silver Certificates.
