In Quinten Gregory's Professional Realism 2 video, playing now on ArtistsNetwork.tv, he uses a variety of references and step-by-step demonstrations to give you the skills you need to create dramatic water paintings no matter what your medium. Follow along with the full-length video to learn how to paint a clear, still lake in watercolor to focus on reflections and depth; choppy river water in watercolor to focus on waves; a gentle river in oil to focus on light effects; and a small stream to focus on fast, running water.

In this preview from Quinten Gregory's Professional Realism 2, Quinten paints gentle waves and smooth water on a river to show you how to paint reflections and light effects. Visit www.ArtistsNetwork.tv for access to the full length version of this video.

  • Thank you for all the effort and stye you put into your video. I got quite a bit out of this one. Judging by some of the other comments, it's nice to see that you can attract children as well, no matter what country.
