eating spagetti tied with a sheet onto a computer chair with no arms, with a booster seat and with a pillow behind his back. Once we mastered this option for sitting up, he was in heaven. He could do things on his own sitting. His cast was from the top of his back all the way to his ankle. He was in a straight position with the cast. All he could do was lay flat on his back, until he got strong enough to hold him self up on his stomach on the floor to play. The other way we sat him up in the beginning was by letting the cast strattle one of our legs while he was on our lap. That worked ok. But him on his own was heaven, to see his face lite up.
