Anyone else get embarassed for Cameron everytime he holds up the crocoduck card? Even if I were a Creationist dingle-berry, I'd be embarassed for him.

@jzcp99 Because things really don't 'evolve out of existence.' If a species is suited well enough to perpetuate and reproduce, it will likely persist in some form/variation over the years. The only case where something goes out of existence is if something causes an entire phase/stage of creatures to die off due to dramatic circumstances, like abrupt loss of habitat, and being unable to adjust to new changes.

Why haven't the examples of transitional animals evolved out of existence?

Wow great vid!! I cannot believe how ignorantly foolish people can be.

if anyone ever asks you for a animal thats transitional, between two "different kinds" such as an "ape man" try asking them if they ever seen a Bird duck before..... how about a something thats half Reptile, half lizard? A lab, dog? How about a something thats half Bilatarian, half Vertibrate? Or a half Tetropod, half Aminote? I wonder if their are any creationists who realize how retarded their expectations are yet....

@brettppalmer the futurama video of the evolution/creationist debate is season 6 episode 9. It has the missing link scene
-
the funny thing is that there are birds with teeth, which is exactly what they are asking for, not only archaeopteryx fossils. but scientists have managed to fertilize chicken embryos that grow with their own teeth, by activating a leftover gene from their evolutionary past!
that blonde lady on the dawkins video is being dishonest on purpose, the people she represents won't allow her to give in and admit even some small aspect of evolution might be true.
Did you see the recent Futurama bit where the creationist orangutan scientist kept demanding a missing link for each remaining gap in the fossil record, and Professor Farnsworth kept providing one, until, eventually one still-missing link was left to find? Funny stuff, and good material for you to illustrate the point with.

@kentmcmanigal Sounds good! I'll have to run a search for the scene!
