Hurricane Katrina

This was my experience during Hurricane Katrina while it passed over Snapper Creek in Miami. During this film, Katrina was a Category 1 Hurricane and what you see is in this video are the effects from the eyewall passing over. Hurricane Wilma was worse for us here, and I'm making that film now- which was also the eyewall. But, I stress that no person should do this. I have experience the living hell of a Category 5 Hurricane's Northern eyewall for hours- with sustained wind gusts in excess of 220mph. There was nothing left but us and I don't even remember the whole thing- just the horrific blasting sound, head crushing pressure, and blinding winds. Lucky to be alive- is an understatement. A Category 1 Hurricane is no joke- not to mention the horrific tornadoes and other earth catastrophies many people have suffered in the world. Oh, enjoy the vid.

--- I was asked by someone about Andrew footage. I wish I could have filmed Andrew but I wouldn't have been able to hold a camera in that storm. I had to use both hands all of the time to hang on after the house started blowing apart.

Katrina was actually only a category 1 storm in southern Florida, not a category 2 as you claim in the description. Other than that one criticism though, this is actually a really cool video. Thanks for posting it!
