Only 4 minutes after the beginning of the storm/tornado/whatever, the top 25 feet or so of one of our White Pine trees crashes to the ground (about halfway through the clip). What I didn't know at the time was that four trees farther back did the same thing (my view was obstructed). Mild expletive.
That "branch" that came down was the top 20+ feet of a 75' white pine tree. All told, it was over $2K to clean the mess up (and that was with a lot of volunteer help) and trim the surviving trees. White pines are notorious for this sort of thing, I learned. We also had an unaffected white pine [proactively] removed that was right near the house. The swath of damage moved west to east and very narrow (maybe 500'?).
