Jon Gosselin: Kate's New Show "Unhealthy" For My Kids

Jon Gosselin says that even though his ex-wife, Kate, and their kids have a right to appear on the new show "Kate Plus 8," "it's also my right, as a parent, and as a father to my kids, to determine whether the show is good for my family... I don't want them to film anymore," he said. "I don't think it's healthy for them" due to divorce proceedings. "It's not healthy for my kids to be going through this."

Gosselin also told King he had no advanced notice that the show would be revamped. "I found out just like everyone else, on an AP news wire" about the format change, he said.

King also asked Gosselin if he got along with the network. "I don't get along with the people at TLC," he disclosed.

I agree with Jon...he HAS RIGHTS AS A FATHER and has made a very sensible decision. More fathers should speak up for their children and he should be very proud of standing up for his beliefs. GO JON!!!!!!!!!

I hope that "Kate + 8" gets cancelled, and Jon gets full custody of his kids. TLC and Kate are just money hungry tyrants. and now they tried to force Jon into a contract, and to exploit his kids. @ NaysaMeMe They ARE working because of the fact that TLC forces the kids to work, under penalty to Jon and Kate. And the only reason that they are fighting Jon is because they know that they will lose money if the show gets cancelled You are just being sexiest.

It's not all about money and I agree with John about it being unhealthy. Just because they're 'celebrities' doesn't mean they love their kids any less than any of your parents/ gaurdians do...
