  • Cool, but why in E?!?!

  • @kcb3141 Because the transition in the middle IS in E..

  • what kind of guitar is that

  • A ROman Pearlcaster...which has been stolen since this video from BillyBobs TX

  • nicely done!! Question: what scale or mode is that solo in? E Major? Thanks.

  • @25Bees It would actually be closer to A major...Its a modal E run...Mixolydian...They share siimlar intervals..

  • @Singlpilot Correct. The easy way for me to remember this stuff is that if you are in a 'major key' like E, except you have the VII chord (D), then play the mixolydian which has a flat 7th tone.

  • Damn man, great playing!

  • Amazing video, one request please break it down a little slower. sounds perfect, but having a little trouble keeping up!

  • @Singlpilot Sorry to hear that, twas a gorgeous axe!

  • Does anyone know a good free way to learn the basics of modes and keys in improvisational soloing? I've been playing for about two years and am struggling to try to learn how to improvise.

  • WHoa! That was sweet!
