http://www.lockergnome.com/mobile/2012/01/17/five-great-phones-that-arent-sma... - Contrary to what most of us geeks probably think, the majority of the world still doesn't use smartphones. Cellphones, yes, though they're probably kind of primitive by the standards of most inhabiting the boundaries of geekdom — and you know what? If that's what you like, then go for it! Here are five great cellphones that may not be "smart," but they're far from being dumb!
@SuperMuddiger Fair point. In other news: i own a nokia with no INternet, USB conection, BT or Irda :D I got fed up with so much technologie but i still deal with a lot of new phones at work, and Samsung wasn't even close to one of my most problematic smartphones. Up there there's the old HTC's and the new iPhones.
If you can find a refurbished Samsung Alias 2 or Insight, that was the best phone I've ever had. No clue why they stopped making it. Had to upgrade to a smartphone for some school stuff I'm doing, and I love my smart phone. However, the Alias 2 is still a killer phone and I'm keeping mine as a back up.
nokia 5310. that was my phone that i had before i had a smartphone. i could browse the web and view full html webpages. i could check my facebook. i had access to tons of 3rd party java apps from the ovi store. it was like a sub-smartphone or a high end dumb phone. it was great
