Thank you thank you thank you! I love the 1000 island and to see how it was nearly 100 years ago was incredible. Especially great to see boldt castle when it was fairly new.

This clip was secured from the National Archives by the Thousand Islands Museum, 312 James St., Clayton, NY 13624 at considerabe expense. The Museum would apreciate any donations.

The 1919 footage is remarkable, but more remarkable would be if someone would do a video from atop each of the spans constructed in the 40's of this incredible site. Been to 48 states, and consider the 1,000 Islands area second to the Monterey, CA area. A nice, summer day and the view of these 1700 islands is an unbelievable sight.
