  • I think it is funny how BYU fans pretend they don't care about this game and that it means nothing to them. Fact is: USU is their in-state rival in basketball, and the last few years the games have been fantastic. We all know Utah would lose to a high school team. Come on Cougs, stop living up to your condescending stereotype.

  • Hahaha The funniest part is that BYU doesn't care about USU nearly as much as USU does about BYU. As a BYU fan I don't see them as a hated rival. More like a sibling rivalry. Go Cougars(:

  • I am a serious BYUfan and the fact of the matter is that BYU "plays like hell" when they come to USU. :)- But I still love BYU. And I appreciate USU's basketball program and I used to share a meal with Brady Jardine back in TX. And I always hope he does well!

  • Roll Tide

  • Plus outside of Utah nobody even cares what BYU does or do. They hardly even televise their games.

  • @Hassman

Sorry about I probably wouldn't say us because I don't go to USU and don't care about them. but I have respect for them in a way. just like I have respect for every school in this state. In basketball I have respect for this state. Utah is basketball country which doesn't surprise me.

  • @Hassman

Yeah If I was going to a Party I would rather go to Vegas or Brooklyn to party and Brooklyn is a little rougher than Provo. just saying. A town that doesn't have beer and drugs. and If you don't about USU then why did you comment in the first place? I don't give one ounce of remorse what BYU thinks. you guys beat us football and after you guys rushed the field you deserve this loss. Plus I thought UVU was the HS. UV High lol

  • @JBtheonetheonly Hi JB, I am not sure I was understood, sorry about that. After spending my undergrad years at USU, your supposition of hate is generally not true. Of course, trolls on the message boards full of hate. My point was that the most heated rivalry in the nation understands and respects the strong and critical disconnect between athletics and people. Before and after game day, Duke & UNC students intermingle, no hate. I believe BYU, Utah, and even my Aggies should take a lesson here.

  • @bradleyjh1 I didn't say they have the greatest rivalry in basketball. I said, being a BYU fan and going to USU I see the 1 way hate. That's all it is.

  • @JBtheonetheonly Come On! USU DOES NOT hate BYU. There is so much hate BYU thinks it has which it actually does not. I am a student at a school that has the most heated basketball rivalry in the nation hands down, UNC vs. Duke. They keep their rivalry on the court, where it belongs, and yet it STILL is the most heated. Being a Utah native, I say that all the Utah schools could take a lesson from this rivalry on how to treat people, even if they are staunch supporters of their opponent.

  • Wow, very classy...
