I've had one for 2 yrs and couldn't go back to electric or gas. Only one thing to be careful about: superheating. Water and other clear liquids boil super-fast, and can reach boiling point without bubbling. Anything carelessly dropped into the water can make boil all of a sudden, spilling scalding water all over. Dangerous and messy.

Induction heating is music to my ears! I've had an induction cooktop for the last two years and I couldn't go back to electric or gas cooking. Only one caveat: beware of superheated water. Anything carelessly dropped into liquid that should have boiled but hasn't, has the potential to suddenly boil and spill out of the vessel.

Shocking, amazing, facinating! Cooking with Magnets?!?!?

Does anyone know what kind of music piece this is?

I like induction cooktops, but a 2 minute video of watching a pot boil?!

Only if you have the stereo on! :):):)
I'd like to know if this induction cooktop could handle a large pot, such as a large pot of spaghetti.
I like to make large batches of food, but don't have space for a full-sized cooktop.

But they cost 1500-2000$ + you gotta buy magnetic pans.
If I had money...
