Great video. I've been working with oils lately and I've been trying to get my strokes right the first time. It's difficult but it gets easier with practice.

it does get easier as time goes on, and confidence builds leading to each painting becoming a more personal statement or expression of style. Its been said that it takes 120 bad paintings to learning something about painting. I'm sure each time a new direction is embraced, there is a period of dues and frustration to be paid. One has to reason oneself thru to determine if the change is worth it. It has been for myself...
