john paul jones is 63 so i dont think the band has that much of a future probly a side project that will last 2 years with 1 album and lots of touring

I wouldn't really say it died, but good music is more rare than it used to be. After Kurt Cobain died and Nirvana ended people were saying music has died and a lot of people actually gave up. But ee still got Tool, Foo Fighters, QOTSA, a few others. And now Dave Grohl from Nirvana, Josh Homme form QOTSA and John Paul Jones from Zeppelin formed a band. :D
