Notch fixed all of the glitching boosters except for one: the pig booster. Knock any pig into a minecart (I like to throw snowballs at them as they cause no damage and still move the pig.) and then slap a saddle on it. Nudge the cart in the direct you wish to move and get on the pig that's in the minecart.
