Graceland is one of my favourite albums too, definitely. I was just trying to explain why he 'sounds like elvis' as you said, and my guess was to conserve his energy.

thanks QuestionsByTaylor, having said all that, i still think this song and the Graceland album is one of the alltime greatest classics. It is like it has bottled lightning or something, brilliant and subtle.

yeah, I agree... but I think its just the nature of doing too many shows in a row, you have to can feel a need to be nonchalant like that to keep yourself from burning out maybe.
