John you would have been almost 70 this year. I will be 60 almost to the day. I am loosing my mom now as I speak. I can only imagine your pain when you lost your mum.at the tender age of 5. You had to repeat it again at 16...

I'd have to say that Lennon ( and McCartney ) DO generally get the credit they deserve as being arguably the greatest songwriting team in human history. However , there are times when I'm not sure if they REALLY do get the credit deserved. This song that John wrote ..... from a musician's point of view ..the chord progression alone .. is so brilliant. Staggering , the music that they had in their heads.
