  • a "kabillion," you say?....oh, that not only sounds impressive--it sounds intelligent....lol

  • IMO , 2jz is the best thing you can do to an rx7. Haters gonna hate.

  • @801Snowflake my cousin had an RX8 and mazda reckoned that had much better fuel efficency over the RX7. he drove it properly and only managed 300km on a full tank. Rotarys arent the best cars to drive everyday and also considering the fact that if u just leave it sitting it will have bigger problems, u best had a piston engine unless you want to refuel alot. and fuel isnt getting cheaper these days

  • @Suprastar77 im glad you understand....The 13b is a great engine and has alot of power for a 1.3L..I say if you have a FD to leave it mostly stock,If you want big power then save up and get a Supra...in my case,i have a FD with a bad engine and a spare 2jz so it makes sense to swap it.

  • @Suprastar77 Its on what you want. if for example i were to have a good turbocharged FD with a 13B and took it around a track i know that it would have massive advantages due to the rotor being much lighter than a JZ or an RB. But in the long run yes the rotary would lose. EVERYONE knows that rotarys are sadly unreliable when it comes to efficencybut never ever underestimate the power a rotary packs. i persnaly love Jz's and RB's but i just see it wrong for an FD with a piston engine. my opinion

  • @kevin122780 Yea buddy i know the JZ and the RB's quite well and i know they have the reliablility and power. but remember not EVERYTHING is about power. its on what you want. for example if i wanted a light, nimble fast type i would go with the FD with the rotary, if i wanted it to become a power monster i would use an inline six, yes the rotary can make about the same power but yes ur right it would not beable to hold that power for long thus requirering regular overhauls

  • @Suprastar77 if you can have one of the best looking cars ever made (FD) with a engine that will last a very, very long time, then why not put a 2JZ in it????i have a SC300 with 474whp with nothing more then a bolt on turbo and thicker headgasket running only 15psi with 185k miles and 165psi on all cylinders and still has stock bottomend....So tell me,what would it take to get a 13B to 474hp on stock motor and how long would it last????It all about using your head Buddy!!!

  • @Suprastar77 lol ok RX7 with 13b is better then most cars on the track and i never said they are not good cars BUT the RB26 and 2JZ are better for making power. Not to say that the 13B is weak but they are known for losing a seal after about 50-70k miles. If you look at my videos,i own a FD RX7 with 75k miles and the past owner was 60 years old and never drove it hard,so im 2nd owner with only 75k and the engine is bad,so that tells you something

  • @kevin122780 are you high? i said FD as in with a rotary not a 2JZ. and FD's and FC's are someof the best japanese track cars you can buy that is FR idiot. they are lighter and more balanced than piston powered cars. And dont even say the supra or the GTR's are wayyyyy better. the only thing they have is outright power over the RX7. The GTR is a Traction monster but its not the best car in corners. and yes a 50/50 balance is probably the best ive seen on a car under $40,000

  • @Suprastar77 heaps?lol well only rich little mommas boys or old men with money...I use to track alot untill i seen how many retarded people go and how often they run in to each other..i have alot of money in my cars and if i want a track car,i would buy a beater NOT a FD RX7 with a 2JZ swap

  • @kevin122780 what do you mean most people dont take an FD to the track?? there are heaps of them

  • @Suprastar77 dude please!50/50 is great but when are you really going to feel it?At the track but most people dont take there FD RX7 to the track.2jz is a great swap for this car and only throws it off to about 52/48 so who cares?
