@TheChristfollowers2 Atlanta had a bad carjacking problem in the 90s so the legislature passed a law declaring a persons car as property equivalent to a home allowing people to carry a gun in their car without a carry permit. After a few would be carjackers got shot dead the carjackings all but stopped.

If guns are really the problem, then why the hell were there only 135 homicides in Switzerland in 2003 half of them not even involving guns? I say the way to get the gun violence down is to slap a 50 year mandatory sentence to somebody every time he/she chooses to abuse one. Life in prison if they unjostly take a human life.
