that is awesome man I've looked at tabs for the song and I have yet to learn how to sweep pick so most of the song is sort of out of question, and all I really have is a classical acoustic which makes it even tougher.

I feel your pain. Not saying I'm not grateful to have an acoustic because I like acoustic more in some cases, but some songs you just need to have an electric guitar to play.

I just shift my hand down with pointer on Red and use my index - ring to hit that little W shape of notes. All I have to say is practice makes perfect and you really need to think about what your fingers are doing. Also there is that strum note at the end so you just need to pay attention to your timing. I don't know if that helps, but I hope it does. If that is all that is stopping you just sit in practice mode until you get it because sometimes that is just what it takes.
