dude I do have 3gs 3.1.2 i bought 2 weeks ago.
Apple manege to put bootRom for Iphone since 14 Oct until now.
so its hope less and thanx for video

Okay, The chances are it's not going to work, but you could try jailbreaking it. It may work because my friend jailbroke his 32GB 3G iPod touch successfully, but on the 8GB 3G iPod touch it failed. So you could try, but if it fails you'll need to restore in itunes.
