Dulce talked about sleep paralysis, but she was really freaked out and talked about an urban myth: the old hag.

I've gone through sleep paralysis quite some times, so I had to submit a video response.

I've heard people say that when they sleep on their backs, this happens =/ I don't know, but I've never slept on my back and it's never happened to me lol

Hmm... I never noticed that! It's happened to me like 3 times (that I remember) and all of those times I was sleeping on my back... hmm.... I almost never sleep on my back, so that's probably why I haven't experienced sleep paralysis that often...

Thanks for the compliments.. my cat is sitting next to me.. I should film him watching youtube vids. He loves watching cat vids. LOL. :)

I have had sleep paralysis too but i dont see anything all i see is a blurry room.

Since that night I've had 2-3 classic S.P. episodes too, but I was able to break out of them immediately by concentrating. No hag present. And I know it was just a waking dream. The night I saw the hag I was obviously awake & lucid though. I don't think S.P. and these hag incidents are one in the same. I think in the latter case people become paralyzed from the intense fear, not from being in some hybrid awake/asleep state as is the case with classic S.P.

I had a really scary experience. I saw the hag, but I wasn't asleep nor paralyzed. It started as footsteps on my stairs. Then I saw a black cloud, then the hag hovering above me, hands with long, sharp nails extended toward me like it wanted to scratch me. A look of pure malice on it's face. I got on the net to look up similar experiences, and see drawings depicting exactly what happened to me. I knew then it wasn't just some hallucination.

ive delt with these episodes for years now. started to figure out when they would happen. i can just be in bed (not even sleep) and it would start. If you dont know how, to get rid of it this is what to do: First off, curssing wont work, just make it worse. sleep with a bible (under your pillow /if u have shoes under your bed, face them foot portion outwards/do not face your bed directly in front of mirrors!/say a protection prayer before u sleep. doing any of this will set u free from all evil
