  • No, I never had it. In fact, I'm not very interested in Daikatana :)

  • I hope you guys are just joking :D For the last time - it's a game for PC, made some years ago in alpha state...

  • The idea of creating a video wasn't to show my skills at fps games but to show this game in alpha state. Thare are some people who are interested in looking at games in a state before shipment.

  • Do you really think that a game looking like this would be designed for ps3? OMG... it's an old alpha version of Daikatana a well-known PC game

  • They should have just kept the game on the Quake 1 engine and saved their money.

  • Suck it down!

  • Sooo in the beginning of this game, you can kill monsters with a pepper shaker?

  • HOW CAN I GET THIS BETA TO WORK ON XP?

    Help!

  • Nothing in this looks even close to being as good as the released version. The disc weapon looks buggy as hell too. All things considered, it's amazing they got anything from this.

The underwater cage traveling sequence...was that final? I know I remember seeing that in some FPS game of the time period but can't remember if it was actually something else, like Quake (which would make reusing it pretty lol).

The enemies in the first stage don't look fun to fight at all, what're people smoking?

  • for a pre alfa its good , so why did we ended up with a fistful of shit ?

  • There's a post-alpha build of Daikatana?

  • Unfortunately John Romero made no one his bitch.

  • What's sad about the pre-alpha is that it shows Daikatana had a lot of potential. I mean, its not polished by any stretch of the imagination, but the levels look good, all things considered, and the weapons work pretty well (the actually hurt the enemy more than they hurt you). It's not high quality, but it is fun to walk through and fight. The art is pretty meh (especially the garbage in the alpha's files), but that's to be expected from a pre-alpha.

  • wtf? this looks better than the release version

  • @Jings0b Quoted for truth. I personally don't mind games that look liked this. I prefer blocky, yet detailed graphics, over high res polygon models. XD

  • Love that transforming weapon. Too bad it didn't make to the final version of the game :(
