Why around the edges and inwards? Doesn't that just push all the dirt into the centre of the lenses?

I just got glasses for the first time in my life. They are perpetually foggy. I'm a smoker so I have to tilt the eyewear to the top of my head. So many problems with adapting to bifocals.

My old glasses do that, I think it has something to do with the protective coating being disolved. I'm sure it's from sweating. I would wear these while exercising, I started noticing it a few months back, possibly a year. I still use them but mostly for home and gym use. metal frames are still painted. and will eventually turn green when the coating wears off. this is my experiance at least.

@baxxsnipeman As a glasses wearer everyday, what I do is wash it in a modestly sized dish with some dishsoap, and than rinse with water. After hang it or let the cloth air-dry.

My rayban all plastic glasses have white stains on the temples please help they go away when wet but come out when dry
