Dawn was first produced by Topper in 1970, not the '60s at all. And Gary's not so nerdy when he wears custom fashions. He actually looks pretty cool. I collect these, and I like to sew for the guys.

Gary comes off a little gay

i wonder if john travolta had these dolls when he was a kid?

I had Dawn. I remember being so bummed when I found out she was so small! I thought I was getting a full sized doll like Barbie was. Dawn was about the height of an adult finger. I rarely played with my Dawn doll.

yeah, I think the date is wrong~ more like late 60s-early 70s!

I like the couch and phone. So dawn and relax and talk to her friends about... Gary? Van? Dan? Did she date all of them?

A company called Checkerboard tried to bring them back in 2000. You can find a lot of the new ones on ebay.

@HappyJenny1 Nooooooo lol There's a 31-year gap between Dawn and the Bratz :P Reyn meant that the situations of Topper (Dawn) and MGA (Bratz) were kind of similar :)

We thought this was so neat. Least I did, I had this.

I met Longlocks at a software convention in San Diego. Gave me her number. Turned out to be the number of a dry cleaner. --Ken
