This week's explosions in Baghdad were just the latest in
an attempt to derail upcoming January elections and plunge the country
back into sectarian violence. Analyst Raed Jarrar says that the
bombings are a clear indication that it is too early for the U.S. to
withdraw from Iraq.

  • Poppycock. A withdrawal from Iraq is about 6 years overdue as far as I'm concerned. This war is a joke, and I can't believe Obama is continuing it.

Should have voted for Ron Paul, folks.

  • Could this attack have been done by those who benefit by being in Iraq? Maybe it gives them a reason to stay there! "Suicide" or remote control. Use your brain if you can put aside your MSM programming and see the truth!

  • so let them arrange their affairs themself.

and you are not right about the past of the country. before Hussain attacked Quwait in 1991 Iraq was prosperous country with very high social protection, free and accessible medicine and education. then defeat in the war against alliance, sunctions (unmotivated, btw), etc. still, economy was in better shape than it's now, interethnic conflicts were unthinkable, fundamentalism was tightly boxed. thus, iraqis lost a lot of american *liberation*.

  • This guy wants to know why people can not stand usa lol lol lol is he serious?

  • Wats with the Word Yankee i don't undertand wat it really meant i hope its not offensive to Americans

    why do people hate Americans?

  • americans should go and then the explosions will stop.

  • isnt the iraqy guy not the one from the one hour presentation of the kitty show?

  • bankers and wall street are now running the government. summer, rubben, paulson and geithner are from goldman sachs and JP morgan

  • u can thank globalization and other NAFTA craps.

  • US put saddam in power, now theres over a million killed since the war started,

The people might have been celebrating but i bet they didnt expect to that the US would be much worse than saddam.

  • No but I do remember what a brutal asshole he & his sons were. I also remember 1000's of Iraqi's celebrating in the streets when we liberated them from Saddam. We should have left then. Thats when the job was done. Since then its been nothing more than an occupation.

  • hmm they did finance saddam and the mujjaheddin, so yeah, they are to blame lol.
