You've heard of the cloud, right? It's that magical place on the internet where you can store and share your stuff.

Unfortunately, even the cloud has limits: everything needs to be uploaded, and the more you store, the more you pay.

Pogoplug has a better idea.

We take the cloud and put it right into your home or office. Just take a Pogoplug box, add some storage and you're in business.

Send unlimited photos and videos across the internet, without uploading a single file.

Stream your entire music library online, instantly.

Free your mobile device from the tyranny of storage limitations.

Best of all, there's no monthly fee, because you've become your own cloud service provider.

Welcome to Pogoplug. Your personal cloud. No fees, no limits.

  • If I buy it from Amazon, Would I be able to activate and use it here in Brazil?

  • @rauldurand , There are no official plugins for Nautilus. You can retrieve your files remotely with the Pogoplug then back remotely with Pogoplug. The speed will depend on your connection and the size of the file you are trying to back up. While working on files directly is possible, the best practice is to download the file first, edit, then upload.

  • @rauldurand - Pogoplug can sync folders one way with Active Copy. Local folders can be pushed to a folder on your Pogoplug. Active Copy can automatically copy photos, videos, music and other files from one folder to another. Whenever you add new files or make changes to an existing file in a folder with Active Copy enabled, these files will be automatically copied to the destination folder you selected.

  • Can it sync local folder as Dropbox does?

  • Is there a pluing for Nautilus?

Can I work directly on the remote files? like editing files, compiling source code, etc? or it will be too slow?
