This is a short film about how composer Guy Woolfenden came to compose "Mockbeggar Variations".

It is also a peep into the world of a composer (my dad) who has made the leap into composing with the aid of computers using "music notation software".

Wasn't the weather amazing in February?

  • Excellent! Thanks for posting this. I played a lot of your dad's scores as i grew up. Fond memories of great music.

  • And a great guy too, I used to work in Sibford Stores where he shops! I want to give him my regards :) Andrew

  • Guy Woolfenden is one of the greatest composers for Wind Orchestra ever.

    loved this little insight.

  • It's fantastic to see and hear one of my favourite wind band composers here!! I play in an Irish concert band and we've played 3 of your dad's pieces. I love his music.
