Hey that was nice work. Our affiliate, Crossfit Invictus in San Diego, has teed up Fran for today's wod, so it was helpful to see someone go at it with gusto. Keep on working hard.

It's called kipping and is the default chin/pullup style in CrossFit.

Thanks Doom... My goal is to push out a sub 3 minute Fran by the end of the year. I'll proudly post it when I do. Ciao Mate!

Pull ups on the garage door, good work.

Heh, it looks like it doesn't it. I actually have a pullup bar built into the rafters above the door. It's about time for another shot at Fran. I can hit 3:30-3:40 consistently. I'm training for the Crossfit games in '09 and I need to get this down to 3:00 by July.
Merry Christmas

Good job bro! I've only done Fran 3 times: 7:07, 6:23, and today 5:29. Hope to get as fast as you sometime soon.

could you please explain to me, as I just atarted trying to figure crossfit out - when it says on the website "Three rounds for time of" e.g.
50 Jump rope, double unders
50 Hip Extensions
50 GHD Sit-ups
.... does that mean 150 in total of each exercise?
Regards
Daren

Hey, what that means is you start the timer and begin to do those 3 exercises in that exact order. Once you complete them, grab your jump-rope and begin again. Repeat the group of exercises 3 times with no breaks and upon completion of your last rep of the last set, stop time and record it. Racing the clock allows you to build benchmarks for each exercise so that you can track your improvements over time. Good luck Daren!
