I have a question. I just got my nose pierced 2 days ago. I have had it done before but i had it done with just a needle and this time it was with a piercing gun, the piercing gun had the back of the ring with it so now my ring is completely closed. I need it out by thur when i go to work i just need to get the back off so i can use the ring as a stud only. any tips?

@photographylover23 I'mt not sure what to tell you!! The piercing gun is a bad idea for the nose exactly for that reason. The backings of the earring are tight and the only thing you can really do it pull to get the backing off

thank you, you helped me take out the screw. I put in a captive bead ring, but it hurts as the hoop is large, except i CANT GET IT OUT of my nose!! (not the ball - the ring/hoop)

@bluecmango There is not much I can help you with. If it is bigger than your hole and your nose hasn't adjusted to it, it's going to hurt you just have to bare it; or try putting a bit of Vaseline around it to lubricate it. If you still can't seem to get it out, go seek a professional to take it out for you.

so i just got my nose done a couple days ago, and i have antiseptic for cleaning my cartilage rings and earrings would that work the same for cleaning my nose?

@guitarherowomen13 As long as it's not something cheap like a "Claire's" solution, it should be okay. You may want to use a salt water solution just to be safe. If you see any signs of infection, switch your method of cleaning.

@trisharose87 No if you do it yourself it's likely to close/get infected because it's so fresh. Get it changed professionally. Tell them it's for work purposes, there is nothing wrong with studs for healing!

I just got it pierced yesterday and they wouldnt give me a stud the recommended hoops, but my job said stud or remove and I change it myself?

I'm a guy and i got a stud in my nose 2 days ago and i look really stupid in it and i want to put a captive bead ring should i just put in it now or wait a while because i dont like it please help
