Great video thanks for uploading.

I half believe that David is a changed man, but I think even if his apologies are insincere he still has made an effort and I'm sure many people take comfort in the fact that he is never getting out of prison, and using his time wisely writing is no harm to anyone now.

I am touched by David's wisdom and humility - an amazing example of someone who did such evil things turning their life completely around. I agree with carol14960...this man is clearly no longer a threat to anyone. Keeping him locked up at this point is only about retribution and punishment not protecting society.

the human brain is a strange place to find yourself.

Dude is due for parole - it is obvious that he is mentally stable now,

This section of the interview was very good and all parents should consider it.
It reminded me of the essay by Susan Klebold. She was the mom of Dylan Klebold, one of the Columbine murderers. Until 2009, she had denied all interviews but she wrote an essay which was printed in O magazine. (It's easy to find, use any search engine.) She wrote about that day and what happened in the months before it. She said she didn't see the warning signs and hopes no other parent has to go thru it.

I know that in your 20s, people are still very vunerable and truely not grown up. I would not fear David Berkowitz if he was free. I have a son who when in his 20s was brain washed by some girl who was nothing but trouble, BUT My husband and i never gave up, and finally he got rid of that low life, drug addicted whore. So although its not the same situation,I completely understand a person in their 20s mentality.

@TheDAT573 There's nothing wrong with people who are too religious, unless there the type that shoves it down your throat I stay away from those types lol. Im an atheist to and have many friends with different religious beliefs but it doesn't bother me they can believe in whatever they want.
You may hate him for what he did but he's in jail now and won't get out. He knows that. But at least he has made use of his time trying to help others and impart advice on those that may end up as criminals. If you look deeper past the monster I think you will see a man now.And for info I don't believe in God but even I can see this guy has cleary changed from his youth. This guy is very different to Bundy, Panzram who imo were past any kind of rehabilitation.
