This is going to become a common experience with you. You have no idea how many hours I have wasted trying to find a specific teacher at the college because of their radiant AI system. The only time you can trust them to be in a specific place is at around midnight, where the illusion guy will be in the bottom floor of the Hall of countenance, asleep. Every teacher has their own specific bed, so you can find them then.
