@djflash808 I didn't see this, so excuse my lateness. No I do not. Rap is an industry term. Being an Emcee is what we're talking about. I understand why people confuse the two especially because of the spoken word movement. Both are literary arts though, but the main reason why they're compared is because those words evoke passion and meaning.

@arahb1 You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Hip Hop the culture started with one man Cool Herc. The term 'Rap' is an industry term. The culture calls it being an Emcee (Mc). The 4 elements are the; Emcee, Dj, B-boy, and Graffiti artists.
