The "Just Enough" segment of The Rachel Maddow Show from 1-29-09 talking about the traffic sign in Austin warning people about Zombies. I heard about the story earlier in the day and was so glad that it made it to the show. In case you missed the story from the news, head over to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTzfXYF6BPg.

  • While I find this story very, very funny because of what was written, the story actually scares the hell out of me. I want to know where all the tax dollars have gone that are for Homeland Security? This could have been very serious. If someone was able to hack into this, it means that the security wasn't good. They probably never changed the default password. As someone who is a sometimes hacker, that is the first thing you look for. I find this a failure of the Government - local or state.

  • That's an excellent point I didn't think about. Truly scary. I suppose for now we just have to laugh a little to keep spirits up in the face of this. Zombies!

  • that's a very good point

  • see because they have no blood flow they are more prone to freezing that living beings. so they tend to just freeze in place until they thaw

  • Rachels forced phoney giggling in the background on each Kent Jones skit makes it more annoying then it would normally be... can barely stand to watch it.

  • Nice cackle, Rachel.

  • running for cold climates is from "World War Z," there'll be a huge movie version coming out soon. in fact i wouldn't be surprised if this is a wacky promotional tie-in, sorta like cloverfield.
