@spader49 Good point made, now to kick a fact 93% of Black people voted for Obama, and in talking with many people they have no idea where he stood on the issues. Even still to this day, most people have no idea the policies that have been enacted by his administration and how and who they effect. That is a huge problem, for ANYONE that votes based on race and not on the issues and what they stand for.
@alkidathreat it may be an insult, but that's exactly what happened. Remember, she did say that a lot of white people voted for McCain b/c he was white and did not want to vote for a 'black man'
thank you! thank you! thank you! I'm Hispanic and do not support President Obama b/c of his policies, ideals and record, but I constantly run into violent opposition who call me racist b/c I dare dissent with the 'black man'. 'You're not white, so you MUST vote for Obama, and anything beside that makes you a sellout and an Uncle Tom'.
First she said he hands out food to the poor then she calls him self serving. Second, isn't Obama's choice to go into educating America's brightest minds of tomorrow as opposed to capitalizing on Wall Street or being a wealthy high powered attorney, with his degree's from Harvard also showing a clear decision to give back to the community, rather than being self serving? She fails her argument horribly.
@spader49 At the 3min. mark she questions President Obama's experience/ qualifications for the presidency by stating that his only experience was being a constitutional Law Professor. If I am not mistaking a Presidents agenda pertains to shaping policy that will enact laws. Also handing out food to people who can't feed themselves, according to John Locke, one of the most influential political philosophizers to our governments constitution, is the duty of our government, she failed her argument
@spader49 Why single out black people, would not her point resonate a true argument for discussion with the thesis being; People of diverse ethnic backgrounds who choose to vote solely predicated upon race? The fact that she singles out black people makes her argument racist in and of it's self. She never used fact based statistical data, that gives clear percentages of blacks who openly stated that the were voting solely on race, therefore it is a blanket statement that encapsulates all blacks.
