George , This song is great.It reminds me of my parents and Grand parents, and of all those who done there bit for Australia, back in the day when your word was Concrete and cast in stone. A wonderful song based on Aussie history, definitely an award winner George!
I play your song constantly when I am working in my office, I get soppy and choked up when I play it. A great reminder of the incredible hardship married couples experienced due to the war. My mum in law lost her first hubby in the war, so its got a special message to me.
