  • I feel so sorry for the innocent people. The looters are trying to bring this Beautiful country and it's people down. I think that everyone that is caught looting should be shot and killed, Not fair to the people that really need it.

  • Well the Earth don't care who's Ass it kick's Next time could be US?

  • funny how when this happened the U.S. immediately went and helped. and these people are fucking robbing places. yet shortly after chile got hit even worse and no one did a thing. yet as bad as it was no one was robbing or hurting anyone. instead everyone worked together. says something about blacks doesnt it? just how in new orrleans ppl were burning down buildings for no reason and firing at the military when they were tryng to help

  • Goddess...Get Real !!!

  • SHAME ON YOU AMERICA!!!! The USA is the only country where EVERY NIGHT we have homeless without shelter,

children going to bed who are starving, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment,

sick people dying - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations.

  • why dont we get the troops from irak and send them to haiti the will really help there

  • @DubhlinnI916 Just got the update on the CBC (= to BBC) National News.

All personal donations, as of Monday January 18 totalled $54 Mil.

You're right, on a per capita, You're kicking our butt!! :) Now this number doesn't include any matching moneys from the Provincial or Federal Gov't, which arguably could still be classed as personal donations (as it's our money they are using) could change all this, but lets just stick with the REAL money that REAL people donated.

    You guys RULE!!

    :D

  • @DubhlinnI916 I love it! This is the best kind of competition! We're in!

There is so much need. I heard today that a Canadian military division from Quebec, The Vandoos, has been hassling their own CO to let them go to Haiti so they can help out. These are guys that just got back from Afghanistan, but they are just yearning to help down there. They are a perfect fit for this mission. They are bilingual, a very rational, tough, but compassionate military force. They will do GREAT!

  • Ireland has donated 24 million so far. Good luck matching that, Cantucks.

    Population, 4 million.

  • its good to see that everything is back to normal.
