How in the world did they have this awesome song, yet put in that awful "Cornered" theme in the game?

Well, the music in this game is directly carried over from the 2002 GBA version - presumably since then, Capcom realised the original's music was much better, and decided to use an arranged version of that for the E3 trailers.

early 2007.. you might as well just import the japanese version. it's cheaper, out sooner and has an english language option.

@bk2m04 Objection! There is no way the witness could have told it was the victim's corpse after a 3 year dissapearance. Rotting of the flesh enough to fall off takes less than a year, so any markings could not have been seen when the corpse had been found!
