David Mitchell discusses the dichotomy of the phrase 'young man' - a joke that is made to a boy who is obviously not a man, but can also be said to a man who is clearly not young. This certainly gives David something to think about at the grand age of 37.

  • Ah, David... You've always been about 45, even at 15 I can see you complaining about the weather and the trains.

  • I already feel this way and I'm in my late 20s. A life of perpetual single-hood with a job people never really think of as a real job and a mind that keeps forgetting 2000 wasn't just a year or two ago.

  • I wonder how long it'll be before anyone can win Wimbledon on the moon... If a bunch of countries with space programs all come together, it should be possible with todays technology to build a large enough structure with grass floor. What I'm curious about is when it will be cost-efficien enough for people to actually consider doing it.

  • I will never be one of those cool ribbon dancer women. :(

  • Ah, David...I think you might be having a mid-life crisis.

  • Ah so a Pub Landlawd got straight up your nose? Deep.

  • @iichristinll Well hey there, shipmate!

  • If I see an escalator, I want to run up it. At the beach, I still want to build the biggest sand castle ever and make the most amazing tree house, the only thing holding me back is the fact I can. If I unpack a present, the bubble wrap seems more alluring then the actual adult thingy inside. And like before, probably always, I still like to say thingy. Never let the child die.

  • @gunterdak David !!!!

  • @Twirlyhead I am afraid I cannot join your club, as I am in my early twenties, but generally have the attitude of a crotchety old man.
